Hello. I would like to get a start (graft) of a Coos River Beauty Apple. Would someone be able to tell me how I can do that?

Would anyone have a picture of a tree or the fruit?

From a search with Google I found the following on Coos River Beauty: "From Oregon, good for applesauce and pies" @ http://www.livingprooffarm.com/heirloomapples.html -- note the contact info at the bottom.

The following was interesting too: http://www.onthisdayinoregon.com/10_17.html

I couldn't find any pictures... You'd like a cutting, or a scion of this variety? Try to get that sometime this winter, Jan / Feb from any source you can find. Or, it looks like you may buy an already grafted tree at Living Proof Farm web. "Contact us via E-Mail or... Send us a note via postal mail at":

Living Proof Farm
82912 Simonsen Road
Eugene, OR 97405

It appears they no longer ship their trees by mail, maybe you can get to Eugene and buy one, or a scion.. (cutting)?

And, of course - if any of our members have this variety - speak up!
