It's called "Broken Limbs", and it talks about the current state of orchards, small farmers/orchardists, and modern agriculture.

We are definitely moving to globalization and to the loss of the small family farm. This film captures that.
Things do indeed change. I believe the film was made over 10 years ago and I suspect the HoneyCrisp apple has changed the dynamic on the situation somewhat since then......for those who were quick enough to have seen the need to have planted them.
The HoneyCrisp will of course lose its price.....it's a constantly changing kaleidoscope....but for right now, some apple growers are doing nicely.....and the prices for many apple growers have come back since....the problem of course is that growers are constantly gambling on what to plant and how to change their farm....big problem......and not everyone can be growing the HoneyCrisp.
