Hi again. I saw the various posts saying we should wait until it's dry to prune the cherries. I don't know how to do it. Should I take a workshop? If so, is HOS doing one, and if so, when? Or should I hire somebody to prune them for the first time, and get them to show me how? What would you all recommend?

There are pictorials on the web. I would google it. Cherries are not greatly different from other plants except that I would be more careful about making sure it is dry (like right now in the Willamette Valley) to prune. It is easier if you see it. Also, I have found that like riding a bicycle, someone can lecture you about the theory, but if you don't really start pruning at some point, you will never get it from concepts alone. You've got to do it,and you will remember more and develop more from continuing to do it.
