I've grown it here in Aurora. Several bushes, for at least 15 years, but never got a fruit. It comes from a colder climate and seems to get blossom blast similar to a lot of the cold hardy Prunus, such as P. tomentosa. I wouldn't bother planting it for fruit, though the plant isn't a bad ornamental.
