I have Two bonfire peach tree seedlings about 4-5 inches tall in planters that were transplanted from under a parent tree. My question is I live in Kentucky and I don’t know if I should bring them inside for the winter or wrap them and leave them outside. They are my babies and I don’t want to loose them but I don’t know what I should do with them being so young.

Peach trees are pretty hardy.  I probably wouldn' t bring them in unless it got really cold.  I know it gets very cold sometimes in Kentucky.  I'm not an expert. Just grown peaches a few times.

How large are the planters and how much do they weigh?

The cold problem is not with the above-ground seedlings but with the soil (and roots) freezing.

Soil that is kept moist will not freeze as readily as dry soil does.
