Subject line says it all. Can't find this variety even in the nurseries near Bellingham, Wa where it originated. Thanks.

Hello dnab; I'm actually answering two search-questions very similarly... I searched through my nursery catalogs, then went to the latest and greatest tool for such things; The Internet, and searched "Google" via AOL. I went "3 pages" deep looking for a "Bennett" pear tree, or scions (I'd bet you've also done that?). I've wanted you to know "we tried," and had purposely left this "unanswered" so as to trigger someone else's search.
If you know of a Bennett tree, gather some scions next winter; or post a request here around that time. I don't yet know if that variety had shown up at the (05) Scion Exchange, but that's another good source.
Sorry :( I couldn't help you "this year" - but you know what that means ~ there's always next :D
