I've got what look like small Bumble bees boring into & eating some of my peaches. Anything I can spray on the trees/peaches to deter w/o hurting the bees & making the peaches inedible?

I can't think of anything I'd spray on them that I would want in my body or in my garden.

Me neither. Been picking a day or two early & it helps but they're still getting some...

Surround kaolin clay is pretty innocuous.  I don't know how well it would deter them, but they are pretty hairy, so they may not like it.  It washes off and is safe to consume.

Another thing that you could do, that I have done, is to put old fruit sox on them.  These are the socks that women put on when they try new shoes in a store. Maggot Barriers is a brand I like.

I don't mind a few bites in my plum trees, etc.  The only thing I worry about is when I'm giving the fruit to poor people or to guys in my baseball league. They might get nervous.
