Don't forget the Temperate Orchard Conservancy and the Home Orchard Education Center, both .orgs, are great sources for scion wood. They are both actively receiving orders now.

TOC closing order cutoff is the end of January. Orders will be filled in the order they were received. They will begin shipping once the ordering period has closed. They hope to update the list in the first quarter of '25. If the site list doesn't have what you're looking for you can contact them to see if they have available what you are looking for, there is/are more than presently listed.

HOEC has the option of dates in February for local pickup at the arboretum, if that is desirable rather than postal shipping.

Also remember that these are nonprofits, low budget, and primarily volunteer powered. The dollars you spend for the scions you source with them supports the work they do.

Thanks James.  Well stated.  Both orgs have strong ties to the former Home Orchard Society's legacy.

I agree with Jafar's respecting of those ties that we had and are still there.  If I remember then in the morning I'll find those sites James mentioned and hyperlink them here for the sake of helping the very few that keep it going.
