I finally got a couple of spears of asparagus out. Most haven't yet appeared. Anyone else having asparagus issues after last winter?

The spears at my old place started coming up 2 or 3 weeks ago.

I may have to find another location if I want a lot of asparagus. Current spot not doing too well.

Mine are in a warm spot and are 6 foot tall and blossomed out. 

If you move them, just pay attention to drainage.  they don't like wet feet.

Good idea. Mine are finally coming out.  I think they also like a somewhat more alkaline soil than we typically have, so I may try to do something that way as well.
