I have apple trees freshly dug with the original blue clay soil ..should I wash it off before I plant it in my Boring ground? Pat Lundsteen

No. The trees give out from 10% to 30% of their energy in exudates, to attract helpful microbiology, which sets up living food webs in the soil. It will still be alive in the soil, and it will help the tree.
