I was recommended this variety but wanted to hear some feedback.  I would like to try grafting this variety.

zebraworks, welcome to the forum.

Unfortunately for now, it appears that Cowiche is patented and trademarked.  So grafting it without licensing isn't legal.  

It looks like it has a number of popular varieties in its family tree:

wow, didn't realize you could not graft those trees.  I thought that was about commercial use.  thanks for telling me about that.
