I was reading this article about some ancient varieties in Almaty, Kazakhstan. https://www.goodfruit.com/good.....he-making/
The "aport" variety sounds intriguing.
I tried checking on scion-exchange.com but that site seems to be down at the moment.

Would be a good time to reach out to TOC, Shaun has spent the last couple of weeks, since his retirement, updating the inventory list. If they have it, it should be accounted for. I think Shaun is intending to be out at TOC on Wednesday to meet with someone (HOS Alumni) traveling through the area, to see Joanie, mid morning.
