I've promised to construct a tree for someone, and really hope that all the parts he wants will be there. Does anyone know that they'll be bringing Ashmead's Kernel scions?
The person who wants one plans to espalier it next to another that he did several years ago. I'm guessing it won't be allowed to grow more than 6' tall, and should get a real answer to that question soon.
I got M111 rootstock for my several trees, because I want canopy more than I want fruit. I don't know anything about the more severely dwarfing rootstocks. What are my choices likely to be, and who wants to recommend which?
Thanks,
mh
