"I am looking for members who would like to pick up some extra dollars to prune a very mature King fig tree that has been neglected. There also are 4 varieties of seedless grapes in the court yard that have also been neglected and need to be thinned. Due to some operations, age, and some memory loss I am no longer able to keep up with my Permaculture/Organic garden. Yard care companies have a different approach than I would like. I still am giving the quarterly Tours of Bev's Place Organic Gardening/ Permaculture Living Home Site even though it may only show what happens when good trees get too large to share space and how even with neglect the structure of a permaculture garden is still evident and maintaining some harvest. My Summer Quarter tour in Hazel Dell will be this Sat Aug. 22, 10:00 - 11:30 a.m. Free but Reservations required. Beverly Doty 360 574-1343, bevesalt@pacifier.com Thank you."
