We recently purchased an Omega Grafting Tool. All is
fine except that the tool has a valley to accommodate a
branch or twig. The valley is recessed and thus a total
and clean cut is not made.

There were no instructions with the tool. Does anyone
know why a clean cut is not made?

Thank you. Dan

Dan:

Your tool should have come with two soft plastic blocks that act as anvils for the blade to bear down on. When fully closed, the blade penetrates the anvil 1/16"

The tool also should have had two cutting blades- one "V" shape and one omega shape, thus the reason for two anvils.
