There is still time to place a Make-A-Tree order.
The cost this year is $12 per tree, and orders must be placed by Dec. 31, 2009.
DEADLINE REACHED ! Download a PDF Order Form
Instructions for the Order Form
Fruit: Specify apple/pear/peach etc.
Scion Variety: Specify the variety of the fruit you want. We'll do our best to find it. If it is unavailable (or patented) someone will attempt to contact you.
Root Stock: The rootstock choices are on the order form. If you are not sure what you want, you can ask here at the forums, or just specify "dwarf", "semi-dwarf", etc. and we'll find a good match for what you want.
You can include half the order total as a deposit. If you would rather pay the whole amount now, you are welcome to do that as well.
Orders will be available for pickup at the 2010 Fruit Propagation Fair/Scion Exchange, in March.
Please mail your order form and payment check (payable to "Home Orchard Society") to:

Questions? Ask here, and we'll do our best to get an answer.
Steven: is it too late to make a change to an order I've already made? I found another variety I liked better, and although I could top graft it later, it would be great to be able to make the change now if the process hasn't moved too far along.
I'd even pay a little extra to do so!
Let me know,
Jade
I am doing both this winter.
The main reason I am doing the order is it is more certain: if a particular variety wasn't available I would have to source it myself later.
But yeah, in general I want to do a lot of the trees myself. I'll be doing an apple and pear and maybe a quince.
